CAE and NRC Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on 2016 Zhuhai Airshow

On Nov.2nd, 2016 the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Chinese Aeronautical Establishment (CAE) and National Research Center “Zhukovsky Institute” (NRC) was held on the 11th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition 2016. CAE president Zhang Xinguo and NRC General Director Andrey Dutov signed the agreement.

With the aim of promoting the efficiency and expanding the scope of the collaboration between national aviation research organizations on both sides, the Strategic Cooperation Agreement will establish a regular communication mechanism between senior leaders and require for seminars and workshops to increase the interactions between scientists. It will also motivate the scientific and technical cooperation in priority areas settled by joint discussions on

fundamental aeronautical research and leading edge technologies.

Based on the agreement, CAE and NRC will each set up a National Coordination Center (NCC), under the authorization and guidance of the competent

government authority respectively.

“The signing of this Strategic Cooperation Agreement is an important step of CAE expanding its international cooperation under our development

philosophies of ‘Exploration, Innovation, Opening and Sharing’.” CAE President Zhang Xinguo said, “By improving the level and expanding the scope,

this agreement will not only be an important milestone but will also actively support the further aviation cooperation between China and Russia.”
